What is a transfer student? A transfer student is one who enrolls at PCC and then transfers to attend another college or university. Students enrolled in the AA or AS programs of study are preparing to transfer to another school after earning the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree from our College. Some AAS programs transfer as part of a Bilateral, 2+2, Articulation agreement, or other agreement between PCC and a specific university.
The Spring 2025 UNC System Virtual Transfer Fair will be held on Tuesday, January 28th – Thursday, January 30th.
We are excited to share plans for another UNC System Virtual Transfer Fair, January 28th – January 30th. Event registration is open now- we hope you will save the date and share this event with your transfer students and support staff in the new year! We will send reminders throughout the month of January but wanted to catch folks prior to the break in case our NCCCS partners want to promote the event in their ACA 122 syllabi, share with students during final spring advising sessions, etc.
This UNC System Virtual Transfer Fair is designed to provide prospective transfer students and community college advisors the opportunity to gain transfer-specific information from each UNC System university as well as connect attendees directly with representatives from each institution. A tentative event schedule is available now- we are excited to have 15 universities participating (5 on each day of the event)! We appreciate your help in advertising this event and look forward to a great fair designed to support transfer students across the state. Special Note: This event is targeted to transfer students who have completed college coursework after high school graduation. Admissions and advising information shared may not be applicable to Early College, Middle College, and other dual enrolled high school students.Â
