Your Guide to the Pirate Promise program. PCC and East Carolina University recently approved a new co-admission agreement. Under the agreement, interested students will apply to PCC and ECU simultaneously. Participating PCC students also will be eligible to receive:
- Joint academic advising and financial aid counseling.
- Access to ECU’s libraries, student activities, and other benefits.
Starting in Fall 2021, the Honors College at East Carolina University will be accepting 10 transfer students into the college. These students will come in as Centennial Fellows and will be required to complete the Honors College curriculum associated with being a Centennial Fellow. Students will have up to 5 semesters of scholarship funding to complete their undergraduate degree.
Centennial Fellows receive a scholarship valued at $1,250 per semester for 5 semesters, along with all of the benefits associated with participation in the Honors College.

Course equivalency is evaluated for complete undergraduate admissions applications only. Course equivalencies are continuously under development and course credit is not guaranteed. If you have taken courses for which no equivalencies are defined, we will evaluate your transcripts during the official review of your complete admissions application. Select transfer courses listed only receive credit based on departmental qualification. Courses in Industrial Technology and Nursing will only be granted credit after the appropriate AAS degree has been awarded. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree concentrations are currently not included in this agreement, and will not accept these courses. Please check with your department for verification of Industrial Technology course transfer.
